Christianity altered the word “priestesses” making it “prostitutes” and gave these women a different identity.
Oxytocin is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland that plays a role in social bonding, trust, and feelings of connection. Oxytocin release can BE stimulated by various factors, including physical touch, social interaction, and even the anticipation of positive social interactions.
Giving hugs, cuddling a pet, having sex, maintaining social connections, meditating, practicing random acts of kindness, trying yoga, and moving your body can help increase oxytocin levels. So can looking at a sexy woman!
When you’re attracted to another person, your brain releases dopamine, your serotonin levels increase, and oxytocin is produced. Balanced and healthy hormone production is essential for a happy, healthy human.
You may also find it interesting to learn that we share almost 99% of our DNA with the Bonobo Apes. I BElieve these were probably similar to the apes we were engineered from. Bonobos diffuse violence with sexual petting and sexual interaction. They are a matriarchal society and they have some of the most successful, tolerant, and cooperative communities in the animal Kingdom.
